We've heard plenty of cute proposal stories. There have been personalized videos, custom pizza deliveries, a ring hidden in a dessert, etc.

But no proposal is as romantic as the one Luke Munsterteiger planned for his girlfriend, Else Schmit. The two are gelato fanatics — they consistently split pints of Talenti gelato, attempting to sample every single flavor the company manufactures. So, Munsterteiger has the brilliant idea of incorporating the ice cream into his proposal.

Munsterteiger contacted Talenti, asking for help with his proposal. In response, the company created a custom "Else, Will You Marry Me?" label for a pint of Fudge Brownie gelato.

On the big day,  Munsterteiger hid the custom gelato in the grocery store where the couple was shopping.  "I snuck it into the store under my coat and then placed it toward the back, hoping no one would take it by mistake," he told Delish

Then, he suggested the two grab some ice cream. Schmit actually reached for a pint of the Pumpkin Spice flavor she'd been wanting to try, so her fiancé-to-be had to steer her in the direction of the right flavor.

"He opened the freezer door and pointed to one but I couldn't see the label, so I was totally oblivious," she said. "As I picked it up and read it I couldn't believe it—there was no way!"

The pint's label even had the couple's signature emoji message that they frequently send back and forth: a heart, an 'X', and the infinity symbol. Love times infinity.

Obviously, Schmit said yes. How can one say no to a pint of gelato?

"I was totally shocked!" she said. "My mom was taking pictures and then my sister showed up down the freezer aisle."

This was certainly the perfect proposal for the ice cream loving couple – they even save the containers of every Talenti flavor they try.

As for this special gelato container? "We'll definitely be keeping this one!" Schmit said. "And we might use the rest of them as decorations for the wedding."

....Now we all have a love to which we can aspire. A custom gelato kind of love. (h/t delish)
