During a recent town hall meeting in South Carolina, the always-eloquent Jeb Bush took a jab at psychology majors.
According to the Washington Examiner, the Republican presidential candidate said:
“Universities ought to have skin in the game. When a student shows up, they ought to say ‘Hey, that psych major deal, that philosophy major thing, that’s great, it’s important to have liberal arts … but realize, you’re going to be working a Chick-fil-A.'”
Liberal arts students, and psychology majors in particular, didn't take too kindly to Jeb's implication that they'd chosen to pursue a "worthless" career. Using the hashtag #ThisPsychMajor, hundreds are using social media to tell the GOP candidate that not all liberal arts students end up flipping burgers for the 1%. And, perhaps most importantly, to remind them that Psych Majors vote.

Sorry, Jeb. Looks like these Psych majors are up to a bit more than making sandwiches.
