Joey Prixx, 26, is a creative and aesthetic body piercing artist from Boston who literally uses his body as a canvas. To date, he's undergone undergone 100 cosmetic procedures, which is more than 150 hours of surgery at a cost of $60,00.
Earlier this year, he had silicon implants put in his bum, increasing its size threefold. He calls it his "fake bubble butt" and he loves it.
That's a whole lot of butt. "Those who know me know I’m on a journey of building what I see as perfect & I love what I’ve done with my blank canvas, & I live to spread the message of 'be you'," Prixx writes on Instagram.
He adds that he underwent surgery because he loves the "fake" look. He explains: "I love that I sparkle from all angles. I love that I make people feel better about themselves. I am so happy with who I am, what I do for others & where life has brought me."
He works around six days a week to be able to afford the surgery. But he thinks it's worth it: "Life is so much more fun with butt implants," he writes. "I’ve wanted them for such a long time, I’ve worked really hard to get them and I couldn’t be happier."
Though he does warn his followers not to rush into any decisions: "For anyone considering having them, make sure you’re 100% sure, I was in a lot of pain for a while but for me it was definitely worth it."
He wants to increase the size even further, but for now, he's happy. "They feel like two huge water balloons it feels really cool sitting down now and I absolutely love it. I often have people asking to touch them too."
Not going to lie, I kind of want to touch it. Each to their own.
