There's no experience more stressful than traveling with young children. There are toys and bags and snacks to keep track of, diapers to be changed, songs to be sung, and tantrums to be quieted— all while avoiding the death stares of fellow passengers who are offended by the sound of infants' cries.

Now imagine doing that alone, while pregnant. One woman on a flight from Minneapolis to Atlanta did just that— and it wasn't long before her young son started crying.

In a post to the Facebook page, GAFollowers, fellow passenger Angela Byrd shared the story of the kind stranger helping the new (and pregnant) mother comfort her crying baby:

According to the post:

On a flight back to Georgia, this man, who was a stranger to this woman, offered to help her because she was pregnant and alone on the flight and her son was upset and fussy.

He told her that he was a DAD, and wanted to help her so she could rest. He walked the aisle most of the flight from Minneapolis to Atlanta comforting this woman's son as if he was his own

"I was in tears...not because he was white and she was black...but because it showed me today that there are still GOOD people out there in a world full of turmoil." - Angela Byrd

GOOD JOB

The heartwarming post has since racked up nearly 4,000 likes and mothers everywhere expressed their gratitude.

Anyone who's had a kid remembers...

And finally someone used the term "real man" in a way that wasn't damaging or problematic!

Of course a troll tried to ruin it for everyone.

It is true that flight attendants are kind of picky about that...

But most people were willing to simply revel in the occasional good in the world.

So, think twice before you whine about a crying baby on the plane. And ask yourself what you can do to help. (h/t someecards)
