Caitlin Fladager of Vancouver, Canada, took to Facebook recently to share an amazing idea her husband, Noah Slomski, had to teach their young daughter to expect the respect she deserves.

Noah recently decided to start taking their daughter out on monthly "dates."

Caitlin explains:

"My husband decided once a month he will take our little girl out on a "date" where she gets all dressed up and gets taken out for cake and ice cream. Tonight was their first night doing it. He helped her pick out a dress for her to wear, got a little purse ready for her, held the door open for her, and made her feel like a princess. She loved it was so happy when she got home. She will always know how she deserves to be treated because her dad sets such a high example."

This is honestly the cutest idea ever.

Damn right.

Caitlin's Facebook post has more than 37,000 shares and 82,000 likes. And commenters seem to fully support the idea.

"I'm a foster parent of 4 yrs now, I can tell you that doing this will make boys and girls respect not only each other but themselves, set high standards and your kids will know their value," one wrote.

Another commented: "This is absolutely precious! She's absolutely beautiful! jack is beyond lucky to have a father properly provide a amazing role model. Caitiln, I'm beyond happy that you're also treat with nothing but respect, because honey that's what you deserve! You're little family is absolutely beautiful!"
