Woman Who Flips Off Donald Trump's Motorcade In Viral Photo Loses Her Job

Part of being famous is having strangers come up to you and have an immediate reaction. Sometimes good and sometimes bad. And there is no one more famous who gets as powerful of a reaction as Donald Trump.

Recently, while his motorcade was en route to his golf course in Virginia, a woman on her bike stuck her middle finger out at the president. That woman was later identified as 50-year-old Juli Briskman and while some people were applauding her over her actions, she has reportedly since been fired from her job over it.

Briskman explains her thinking at the time by saying, "He was passing by and my blood just started to boil. I’m thinking, DACA recipients are getting kicked out. He pulled ads for open enrollment in Obamacare. Only one-third of Puerto Rico has power. I’m thinking, he’s at the damn golf course again."

The problem is that Briskman works for a government contractor called Akima LLC. After she posted the photo on her own social media page, she was reportedly called in to meet with HR. As Briskman explained to The Huffington Post, "They said, ‘We’re separating from you.’ Basically, you cannot have ‘lewd’ or ‘obscene’ things in your social media. So they were calling flipping him off ‘obscene.’” They also told her the post could cost the company business, even though she never mentioned Akima LLC in her post.

Briskman also alleges that a colleague of hers, who supposedly mentioned Akima LLC in his cover photo, was not fired after calling someone a “a fucking Libtard asshole.” That employee just deleted his post and was able to keep his job.

The good news for Briskman is that most of the Twitterverse is taking her side on this one.

Juli Briskman is hoping to find a new advocacy job for a cause she believes in. She mentioned Planned Parenthood and PETA as examples and it seems like a lot of people want her to work there as well.

Despite everything she still says she'd do it again.
