People Are Convinced Donald Trump's Physical Lied About His Weight

On Tuesday, presidential physician Dr. Ronny Jackson released the results of President Donald Trump's physical. He concluded that President Trump was in good physical and mental health for his age, shows no signs of dementia, and does not have dentures.

But social media seems to have taken issue with President Donald Trump's recorded weight. At 239 lbs and 6'3", President Donald Trump has a body mass index (BMI) of 29.9 according to the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute's tracker.

Move President Trump's weight up 1 lb, and he moves from being considered overweight (BMI of 25-29.9) to obese (BMI of 30 or greater). This has led a lot of social media users to believe that President Trump's weight may not be accurate.

And of course, people have started the "girther" movement. This is a play on words of Donald Trump's birther accusations, with Trump accusing then President Barack Obama of being born in Kenya instead of the United States, which would have disqualified President Barack Obama from the presidency.

Some people have also raised doubt over President Trump's recorded height, comparing him to notable people — mostly famous athletes, whose height and weight stats are well recorded — in order to prove that there's no way Trump is 75 inches (which is taller than he was back in the day, according to a pre-presidential New York State driver's license).

Others compared the President's physique with that of President Barack Obama — and, needless to say, the two men are built very, very differently.

James Gunn, director of the two Guardians of the Galaxy films, is also offering $100,000 if President Donald Trump will step on a scale to prove his weight.
