My wife and I planned a gender reveal party for our son. Now when I say "my wife and I"...what I really mean is I went to the grocery store to get a few things on a list while she did all the real work.
She put some cream filling in cupcakes and had people guess whether or not it was going to be a boy or a girl. If the frosting was blue, total boy action. Pink? And it would've been a girl. That's usually how those parties go. Some people do it with cupcakes, some with blacked out jars of blue or pink candy, or some, with boxes of balloons.
Some parents even go so far as to not knowing the gender of the baby and instead, give it to a balloon company so they can be surprised at their own reveal party.
But people also have the capacity to make things right. At least they were able to do for this family in the end, while also providing a funny video at their expense.
