If the social media era has taught us anything, it is that anyone can become a star. But we have seen so many different variations of what a star is that sometimes we end up with people becoming famous who were just not meant to be. I can list about a hundred reality stars that fit this bill but if there is one thing I am sure about being a star, it is that we can never have enough celebrity pets. These cute, lovable creatures are the ones who should amass millions of followers and have people comment and like their every movement. They are far above their human counterparts and can do no wrong. And once they start getting fashionable and accessorized, forget about it. And when they hang out with their other celebrity pet friends, it just doesn't get any better. It seems that any pet can be come insta-famous these days, but the mega stardom seems to be reserved for the dogs. And who can argue, they are mans best friend for a reason.
So if you're feeling down this weekend, or just need some simple inspiration, please let me introduce you to Puffie the Chow Chow, the dog stealing hearts on Instagram. Brace yourselves. This is just the back of him:
According to Bored Panda, Puffie was born in China, but he lives with his human in Malaysia, and in just a month has accrued 122,000 followers on Instagram. Of course he does! The fluffy butt, the fluffy face, the fluffy sides. All are lovingly documented and carefully curated on social media, and it's all wonderful:
Sometimes all you need to put the bounce back in your step is to look at the squishy, smiling face of a very good boy:
