The majority of our lives is filled with failure, that's why we're always kind of stunned and shocked whenever something works out. It's that persistence and willingness to keep going no matter what happens that leads human beings to create their best inventions and scientific advancements.
With that being said, however, it's still funny to see just how spectacularly those initial tries fell flat on their faces, and even funnier when it's painfully obvious that someone didn't bother to fix the terrible job that they did in the first place.
I guess the following people could say, "at least we tried." ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
1. To help this shelled guy back home.
A moment of silence for our fallen shelled comrade.
2. To find out if it's legal...
By calling 9-1-1 and telling the police you're in the process of cooking it.
3. To make a joke.
Well, kids do say the darndest things, don't they?
4. To have a witty comeback.
I know we learned that in like 2nd grade, but it's easy to forget sometimes.
5. To properly go on sale.
Either that or there's some serious inflation going on and that's a really good deal.
6. To remix the American flag.
Packers are a great team, but come on guys.
7. To package a Halloween costume.
I'm not digging these avant-garde Halloween package designs.
8. To hide a package.
In all honesty though, this was a pretty good job.
9. To scam someone.
Looks totally legit, you should click on that link, bruh.
10. To prevent this bike from getting stolen.
Unless the joke's on us and there's some invisible electric fence on top of this.
11. At making a wonderful cake.
Did they forget to uncheck the "Postmodernist interpretation" option? I think that's where they messed up.
12. To not be that lady who asks to speak to the manager.
But basically asking to speak to the manager.
13. To "touch up" an ancient holy site.
I don't know what it is about horrible art restoration fails that get the people going. Could have something to do with the fact that priceless pieces are being destroyed by someone who has no business touching them, I think.
14. At searching for a stone formation.
And just getting pictures of lousy keyboards.
15. To make fruit appear fresh.
Can we take a minute to talk about the item description on the sticker? I want a flavor grenade now.
16. To make an innocent chicken bake.
But we were given so much more than we bargained for.
17. To not exclude Tigger.
I hope that the guy or girl in that Tigger costume knows exactly when this happened and that it's brought the internet much joy.
18. At offering a 10% discount.
Something tells me that this car rental place absolutely loves having a sale.
19. Warn people about the dangers of driving.
It could be that they aren't grammatically incorrect and are trying to say that irresponsible parents breed irresponsible drivers. Whoa.
20. This star that encapsulates its message perfectly.
This picture gives so much. Was it a star created by a child that an adult decided to hang up, with a message that the kid tried? Is it an inspiring message to all of us, with an intentionally deformed star shape to let us know that an honest effort is all it really takes? Also, what's with the forlorn children in the back of the school bus looking out the window like they're being carted off to Jeepers Creepers' lair?
21. To get green eyes.
Someone needs to tell this dude that lemon makes your eyes red but LIME is what really makes it green. He should try it again.
22. At breaking out of the friendzone.
The thumbs-up and the smile both scream, "it ain't happenin'."
23. To remember that September doesn't have 33 days.
"Add another six days to the project."
"You got it boss."
Boss looks at sign is about to get angry, but then...
"Don't have to come into work if that day don't exist."
"Plus we can bill them for it."
"And they're OT days because they're extra Septembers."
"Kid, you're a union contracting genius."
24. At having a wholesome family photo.
I hope they gave a print to the dogs.
25. To give a clear definition on Wikipedia.
Thanks a lot guys, I got it now.
