These 'Star Wars' Inspired Cocktails Are The Tastiest Way To Ring In May The 4th

I remember the first time I heard that May the 4th was Star Wars day, I chuckled at the specific date, because I'm a fan of stupid puns.

But once that initial amusement wore off, I found myself in a conundrum: See, I like celebrating things. But I'm not particularly obsessed with Star Wars. I don't like cosplay, so it's not like I'm going to dress up like Liam Neeson or Jar-Jar Binks for the holiday. Nor am I obsessed with the films, so a marathon is out of the question.

But sippin' on a delicious beverage inspired by the films sounds like something right up my alley, so here are some awesome Star Wars inspired cocktails to help you celebrate May the 4th the boozey way.

1. C3PO Caipirinha


2 oz Cachaça

2 tsp sugar

½ lime, cut into wedges Splash of Sparkling Ice Lemon Lime

Candied ginger (garnish)


Muddle sugar and lime in an Old Fashioned Glass. 

Add ice and cachaça. 

Lightly stir. 

Add splash of Sparkling Ice Lemon Lime. 

Garnish with candied ginger. 

2. Leia Fineapple


1.5 oz white rum

3 oz of pineapple juice

Sparkling Ice Coconut Pineapple

Nutmeg (garnish)


Add white rum and pineapple juice to shaker. 

Add ice. 

Stir and strain into chilled Old Fashioned glass. 

Top with Sparkling Ice Coconut Pineapple. 

Garnish with pinch of nutmeg. 

3. Fancy Vader


1.5 oz of dark rum

0.75 oz of cold coffee

0.5 oz of vodka3 oz of stout

Splash of Sparkling Ice Black Cherry

Maraschino Cherries (garnish)


Add dark rum, coffee, and vodka to shaker.

 Add ice. 

Shake and strain into chilled martini glass. 

Add stout. 

Add splash of Sparkling Ice Black Cherry. 

Garnish with one maraschino cherry.

2 Shots Rum

Ginger Beer

Lime Wedge



Pour ginger beer in glass

Slowly pour in the rum so it sits on top of the ginger beer.

Garnish with lime wedge and blueberry speared with toothpick
