Harry Potter fans have yet another reason to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the iconic wizarding franchise: They're getting two new books this October.
Publisher Bloomsbury announced that the new titles will make their official debut at the Harry Potter exhibition at the British Library later on this year.
Not much is known about the books aside from their subjects and general information about the novels, which is more than enough to stir die-hard fans into a frenzy. The first is Harry Potter: A History of Magic, The Book Of the Exhibition.
A History of Magic will deal with all of the wonderful courses that are taught at Hogwarts. Hopefully there'll be some in-depth explanations as to how certain magical arts were discovered.
The second book sounds like it also takes a historical approach through the series, as well: it's called Harry Potter, A Journey Through a History of Magic. Like the name implies, readers will get a look into the world behind the spells, like the famous wizards and witches who used them along with tales of magical creatures. Sounds dope.
Bloomsbury released the news in its quarterly trading update, and with the release of two new Potter novels, it's hard to imagine that their brand won't continue to earn more money.
It's been a pretty good past few years for Harry Potter fans. The Cursed Child made its stage debut to the delight of fans and the script was released as part of a major publication push.
Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them also introduced a whole new world and did pretty well in the box office, too.
So if you're a fan of the world J.K. Rowling's created, it looks like there's going to be plenty of wizarding wonderment to keep you entertained for a long, long time.
