Meghan Markle Seems to Have an Evil Half-Sister

Meghan Markle's life seems like a complete fairytale: Her wedding was the talk of the town for months, her photos with Prince Harry and family look like they were ripped from a fairytale-themed Pinterest page, and she seems to be absolutely luminously in love. It's a dream.
Unfortunately, no one's life is actually perfect. Some things just come with the job, like being occasionally bored at the naming of some English bridge, or whatever. Harry and Meghan have the responsibility to show up and attend a lot of events on behalf of the royal family.
But that's not the real problem. The real problem is Meghan's family.
There is a lot of gossip floating around about how close Markle is with various family members. Her father, Thomas Markle, didn't come to her wedding, and rumors flew about where he's been since. In the last week or so, he's been speaking to the press about his relationship with his daughter.
The royal family has pretty much responded by refusing to answer questions, which seems to be making her dad...gleeful?
Though he'd already done what he claimed would be his last interview, Thomas told TMZ, “I was silent for a full year and the press beat me up every day saying I was a hermit hiding in Mexico, so I gave my story.
"Apparently that interview put the royal family in their silence mode … so, I gave another interview to break the silence. All they have to do is speak to me.”
Gee, I wonder why they don't want to. Let's see what else he said to The Sun to start this recent chain reaction of terrible family blabbermouthing.
“My thing about my daughter right now is that I think she is terrified. I see it in her eyes, I see it in her face and I see it in her smile,” he told The Sun.
“I’ve seen her smile for years. I know her smile. I don’t like the one I’m seeing now. This one isn’t even a stage smile — this is a pained smile.”
Can you imagine wanting to talk to someone who was running to the media to say you're unhappy when they haven't even spoken to or seen you? I'm willing to bet Markle is a helluva lot happier traveling around with her husband than she would be talking to her cranky pops.
Thomas Markle isn't the only Markle giving Meghan a hard time. Her sister Samantha is also dragging Meghan and the royal family on Twitter, suggesting that Meghan is selfish for acknowledging Nelson Mandela on his birthday, but not reaching out to her dad.
She even says that if their father dies, it's Meghan's fault. Somehow.
She also lashed out at the entire royal family:
Samantha may be referring to another comment Thomas made to The Sun.
“I had a heart attack, doesn’t anybody care? I could actually die soon. Does she want this to be the last thing we’ve said to each other?” he said.
A lot of people are horrified by the behavior of Meghan's family, and some think it goes even deeper than them just being jerks.
According to The Daily Beast, Meghan hasn't been in contact with Samantha for a decade, which indicates some bad vibes in the family.
Most people definitely seem to be on Meghan's side. We all have family members who give us crap, apparently. This is all very relatable.
There may be a reason that Samantha keeps coming for her estranged sister—some gossip sites are reporting that she is being cast in an upcoming season of Celebrity Big Brother in the U.K.
These folks want money and attention and they are not going to let our duchess live.
There is no happily ever after.
But at the end of the day, Meghan Markle is going to live with her husband in a castle, and her family is going to live in infamy.
