Cookie Butter Oreos Are Here To Ruin Your Diet And People Are Freaking Out

If you're like me, then you love anything and everything Oreo.

OK, well maybe not anything and everything. There have been some pretty strange Oreo flavors that are just unforgivable, to me, like Swedish Fish.

And Sherbert. There are few snack foods that have gone through as many transformations as Oreos. In my lifetime, they went from being simply just Oreos, to being Double Stufed. And then once the varieties started rolling in, they just didn't stop. There were "uh-oh" Oreos, Golden Oreos... While some of these choices seemed like natural fits for the sandwich cookie, some of them — like the aforementioned Sherbert or Swedish Fish — were just so far out there that even the most dedicated of Oreo enthusiasts (myself among them) just can't get on board.

Now these flavors might be odd, but they still have their fans: Such is the power of an Oreo cookie. However, there are some variants whose deliciousness cannot be denied.

Now if you've ever been to a Trader Joe's, you've probably seen a jar of a little something something called Speculoos Cookie Butter.

Now the beautiful minds at Nabisco have decided to take that incredible, spreadable confection and combine it with their trademark golden cookie biscuits to create this gorgeous concoction.

That's right, Cookie Butter Oreos are official and they'll be available on shelves everywhere today.

If you don't know what cookie butter is, it's basically made the same way peanut butter is, but with ground up Speculoos butter cookies instead of peanuts. Decadent? Absolutely. Delicious? YES.

Will you be picking up a pack of these bad boys? If you're on a diet you might want to wait until your cheat day...because there's a good chance you won't be able to stop at the suggested serving size.
