This Guy Told The Rock Wrestling Was Fake And Immediately Regretted His Decision
By Mustafa GatollariUpdated
There are some facts that just can't be disputed, no matter how hard people try. They can complain and whine all they want, but not everyone is going to agree with you. There's also just some people you don't mess with.
Like one of the biggest actors in Hollywood right now, Dwayne Johnson, or as he went by in his wrestling days of the WWE, The Rock.
And those who think it might be a good idea to beef, even jokingly, with The Rock. Trust me, it's always a bad idea. You just won't be able to out mouth The Rock, his comeback skills are just too dang good.
Something that Twitter user Ben Pobjie found out the hard way when he came after the Great One on Twitter after the man also known as Dwayne Johnson gave a shout-out to Kurt Angle on his return to WWE.
Congrats to my good bud @RealKurtAngle and his return tonight to a @WWE ring. Special athlete and great human being. Have FUN brotha #WWETLC

Dwayne, wrestling isn't real. It's time you knew. https://t.co/3iqKjHfNAn

The Rock's response was, swift, brutal, and to the point. You don't mess with the Great One.
😂 👏🏾 I like the dry wit
— Dwayne Johnson (@TheRock) October 22, 2017
Correct, I do in fact know wrestling isn’t real. Thats why I said “have fun”. I also know, you can go fuck yourself.
Uh-oh. This is when your eyes begin to widen. This is when you realize that, oh my God, you just pissed off one of the world's most beloved people, and a mountain of a man who's accomplished a crazy amount in his life. Prepare yourself to receive a people's elbow straight to your Ttwitter mentions.
People loved The Rock's savagery.

Ben was immediately apologetic and realized that his joke came off very, very badly.
My worst nightmare has come true. The Rock thinks I wanted to insult him. I am scum. https://t.co/hlZ3oknRZm

I'm playing a dangerous game hoping @TheRock gets my zany sense of humour and doesn't just have me killed.
— Ben Pobjie (@benpobjie) October 22, 2017
That's when The People's Champ decided to end Pobjie's misery.
Haha I just hit you back. Yes, I not only got the zany but appreciated it as well. 🙌🏾
— Dwayne Johnson (@TheRock) October 22, 2017
And it seems like the two actually ended up hitting it off.
Sir you are a gentleman and an artist.
— Ben Pobjie (@benpobjie) October 22, 2017
And there are so few of us left 👊🏾
— Dwayne Johnson (@TheRock) October 22, 2017
Which, of course, just made people love The Rock and their entire exchange, even more.
I'm dying just observing this interaction. 😍
— Rhonda En Route (@RhondaWoman) October 22, 2017
You and me both.
— Ben Pobjie (@benpobjie) October 22, 2017
So yeah, if there's one thing we can learn about this whole experience, is to never get The Rock angry.
