Sam Sharma is a man with many identities – husband, father, philanthropist, but most importantly, Christian. He credits his strong value system to being a direct result of his Christian upbringing, which was filled with life lessons and revolved around traits like generosity, compassion, charity, helpfulness, and the importance of having a strong moral character.
“My whole life has been one big blessing from the Almighty,” explains Sharma, “I have grown up reading and imbibing values taught in the Bible. I strongly believe in using the power of my blessings to help others who need it more than me.”
Despite having a professional experience of over 15 years spanning sectors like fintech, technology, automotives, real estate, and AI, Sharma decided to follow a virtuous path backed by his strong Christian value system. He founded The Good Lord, a bold luxury Christian clothing brand that embodies faith and empowers people to embrace their true calling.
“The Good Lord is a medium to showcase to the world what Christian values stand for,” states Sharma, “It is not your conventional brand that seeks to mint profit. It is a manifestation of faith and values that have a wider impact than simple branding.”
According to Sharma, fashion trends are fleeting, while value-led branding is a movement that is unfiltered and comes with stability instead of short-lived dignity. Spiritual branding is a means to broadcast conviction about one’s faith instead of being a trend that might not blend in.
“The Good Lord is much more than a random clothing brand; it is a movement that is meant to start spiritual conversations and redefine the concept of identity. We want people to be confident about their belief systems and show what they stand for,” quips Sharma.
For Sharma, values and beliefs are not limited only to The Good Lord. He has also founded The Giving Legacy, a charitable organization that focuses on poverty relief and reform-oriented community projects. He believes in having a hands-on approach instead of relying on external aid. Helping others is what he considers his true calling to be a servant-leader for the Lord. His perseverance and unrelenting efforts are helping to bring about a meaningful change for numerous families and the communities he is associated with.
