In November of 2016, Kanye West cancelled the remainder of his St. Pablo tour. At the time, he'd experienced a series of difficult personal setbacks. His wife, Kim Kardashian, had recently been robbed at gunpoint in paris. He'd experienced a fairly public mental breakdown afterwards, and had to be taken to the hospital. In recent months, photos have shown West looking happier and healthier. But a lot of people have been wondering when the old Kanye would be back and performing again.
Well, Kanye West may never be exactly who he was again (who ever is?), but he did finally take the stage in Chicago on Saturday night almost one year after going into recovery, joining Kid Cudi at the Aragon Ballroom. And he looks ecstatic!
According to Noisey, the two performed "Father Stretch My Hands Pt. 1" and gave fans plenty of chances to capture the magic:
