Saturday Night Live star Chloe Fineman is in the news after she admitted to being fired as a camp counselor for pantsing a small child. The comedian shocked her castmates with the admission, and they could not contain their surprise. Things got even more surprising when the SNL star revealed the child's age.
The SNL star appeared in an episode of Vanity Fair magazine's Vanity Fair Game Show with her fellow cast members Sarah Sherman, Ashley Padilla, Mikey Day, James Austin Johnson, and Jane Wickline, and the cast was testing how well they knew each other. Chloe asked the cast if they knew what job she was fired from, and they were unprepared for her answer. She told the cast that she was 16 at the time, so they guessed that she was let go because of a bad attitude. So, what happened?
Chloe Fineman told the 'SNL' cast she was fired for pantsing a child.
Chloe shocked her castmates when she admitted that she "pantsed a boy" while she was a 16-year-old camp counselor. Pantsing is a prank where a person pulls down another person's pants and runs.
"I pantsed a boy," she said, as Ashley Padilla exclaimed, "Oh, honey, I think you're on a list somewhere."
However, the truly shocking part was still to come, and the more Chloe talked, the more shocked her castmates became.
"And he wasn't wearing underpants," Chloe continued. "And then a giant school bus drove by, and they were like, 'You can't.' 'Cause like, he would, he would lift my shirt all the time..."
By this point, Sarah Sherman's mouth was agape, and it did not close anytime soon. James Austin Johnson was also perplexed and asked, "What is happening?"
"It was Berkeley," Chloe added as James asked how old the child was, which is when things really got awkward. "He was 6," she continued, which caused Ashley to loudly gasp and cover her face. "No, it was a different time," Chloe insisted. "He would, he would be like, 'Hey, can I have a hug?'"
"I'd go to hug him," she continued. "And then he'd lift my shirt like a d--k. And then I was like, 'I'm gonna get back at you.' And so we were on a hike, and I was like, 'Hey Ollie, go look over there, it's a hawk.' And he looked, and then I yanked his pants down — he wasn't wearing underwear, his little ding-a-ling was out. And then these two twins were like, 'Ollie, I didn't know you didn't wear underwear.' And then I was fired."
Folks' reactions on social media also indicated shock, and one person noted on TikTok, "That's a crime." A YouTube user replied, "That first story is one where friends will say, 'Yeah, you shouldn’t tell that one.' Another added, "Child abuse isn't a joke."
"Chloe doing her funny voice while she describes exposing a child's genitals was quite upsetting," noted another.
"I’m not sure why in this current climate, Chloe thought that would be a funny story to share or why VF would air it," another user replied.
The episode dropped on March 31, but Chloe has not yet addressed the backlash over her revelation.
