Dave Portnoy Claims the 'Summer House' Drama Is Actually "Old News"
"I don't even know who any of these people are."

Who knew that Dave Portnoy was knee-deep in reality TV lore by the time the drama between Ciara Miller, West Wilson, and Amanda Batula from Summer House came into play? Not Dave himself, that's for sure. But when Amanda and West publicly shared their relationship on social media, and Bravo fans went wild with this mini Scandoval 2.0, Dave posted on X (formerly Twitter) to share his side of things.
It turns out, according to Dave's response to the Summer House drama, he knew about West and Amanda long before everyone else did. He even admits to his own shock in his video because he said he knows nothing about the show or about the drama that has unfolded on and off it. But Dave is now an unwitting part of the story.

In Dave's video on X, he reveals that when he heard about the drama between the three Summer House stars, it rang a bell. Because, apparently, he heard about Amanda and West hooking up well before either of them confessed to their relationship. According to Dave, Brianna Chickenfry told him about the pair when he saw her at the Super Bowl.
"So I tweet out, 'Oh who cares, this is old news. We knew they were hooking up from the Super Bowl. Chickenfry told me.' Bang …People going crazy, oh that's [an] important time frame information because they'd been lying and I guess West went to the Super Bowl with Ciara while he's f--king Amanda on the side," Dave says.
That last bit is what some fans speculated on, given the timing of Amanda and West going public in March 2026. But Dave has given the speculation more weight, at least if Brianna's claims at the Super Bowl are true. No one expected Dave of all people to interject with his opinions or this piping hot tea, but it brings a whole new level to the betrayal between the Summer House stars.
At the end of Dave's video on X, he jokes that he doesn't understand why "you got married couples living in a timeshare," in reference to Amanda and her now ex, Kyle Cooke. Amanda and Kyle announced their divorce in January 2026. And, if what Dave says in his video is true, then it means Amanda moved on with West weeks after they split up but were still legally married. It's a big mess.
West was allegedly already with Amanda when he went to the Super Bowl with Ciara.
According to Dave, his apparent intel in the form of Brianna let him know that Ciara and West were at the Super Bowl together. At the time, the Itsabravoworld Instagram account shared photos that confirmed Ciara and West were there.
In the comments at the time, fans shared hope that Ciara and West were working things out and would be together from that point forward. Regardless of the nature of the pair being seen together and sitting together at the Super Bowl, per Dave, West was already seeing Amanda during that time.
