Andrea Kelly Has Been Remarried and Divorced Since Her Split From R. Kelly

Allegations, abuse charges, and several controversies have plagued rapper R. Kelly for years. Throughout all the legal troubles and problems R. Kelly has faced, many fans often wondered how his ex-wife, Andrea Kelly, felt about all this. 

According Andrea Kelly herself, R. Kelly’s alleged victims are not the only ones who suffered abuse at his hands. She explained that throughout their marriage, and even after, R. Kelly has been an abuser to her. So, after her painful relationship with R. Kelly, did she ever remarry? 

After her divorce from R. Kelly was finalized in 2009, Andrea decided to give love another try with another R&B singer. In 2014, she married Brian McKee. However, the couple divorced after just two months of marriage.

After the divorce made headlines, Andrea took to her Twitter account to assure fans that if she wasn’t worried about the split, they shouldn’t be either. She wrote, "If I 'don't take it personal' why do all of you? I'm in a good place please leave me there ... BOOM! She {as in me} has given all she can to this LET IT DIE PEOPLE ... LET IT DIE! And in other news ... CHECK YA moved on EMAIL!"

Brian McKee was rumored to be dating Love & Hip Hop Atlanta star Momma Dee. It was also speculated that the two started dating while he and Andrea were still married.

Brian later admitted that he and Andrea may have moved too fast in their relationship. The couple actually were married just six days after they met in an airport. "We got married at my sister's house. If I had to do it all over again, I probably would have dated her a little bit longer ... and gotten a chance to clean up some things in my life ... She's going her way and I've gone my way and I wish her the best. Hopefully, she wishes me the best," he said. "I pray that God will heal her heart and keep it moving."

Andrea Kelly joked that her pal Sheree Zampino, who was married to Will Smith, had a divorce that was more “Disney Channel” while Andrea’s was more American Horror Story.

Andrea will appear in the VH1 special Hollywood Exes: Reunited where she talks in detail about her life with R. Kelly. While the time spent as his wife was not ideal for Andrea, she does give thanks for what the relationship did bring: her three children.

“I did not have a nice transition,” she told Fox News. “But you know, when life gives you lemons, you make lemonade. And I didn’t stop at lemonade … You make the best out of what it is because at the end of the day, no matter what happened between my children’s father and myself, I got the best part of him: I got three beautiful children out of that marriage. I got the best part of whatever we had together.”
