This Is Where Hilary and David Film 'Love It or List It' Episodes!

If you're a fan of HGTV (who isn't?), then you must be a fan of Love It or List It. The show has been on for 15 seasons, and every episode is better than the last. The popular home design show is hosted by Hilary Farr and David Visentin, and it features either a couple or family who has to decide between keeping their newly renovated home or selling it for something new.

But since all the houses on the series are so desirable, fans are curious: Where is Love It or List It filmed? Scroll down to find out!

Where is 'Love It or List It' filmed?

So it turns out, the show is based in Toronto, so it filmed all the episodes of the first six years of the show there and in the surrounding areas of Ontario, Canada. As of September 2014, the show switched over its filming to the U.S. state of North Carolina.

But even though the show has been restricted to Canada and North Carolina, it's still addicting to watch for folks all over the globe.

In addition to the original version of Love It or List it in those two locations, there's also been a slew of international spinoffs of the show. The Love It or List It franchise also consists of Love It or List It Vancouver, Love It or List It U.K., Love It or List It Australia, Love It or List It Vacation Homes (in Ontario and British Columbia), and Vendre ou Rénover (in Quebec).

That said, there's also a plethora of international syndications of the show, so you can watch it in the following countries: Australia, Canada, U.S., Spain, Brazil, Latin America, Norway, Bulgaria, Italy, Poland, U.K., and Northern Ireland.

How can I watch old episodes of 'Love It or List It'?

The easiest way to watch older episodes of Love It or List It is by just keeping your TV tuned to HGTV throughout the day — the channel plays reruns pretty frequently. If you're looking for an on-demand option, though, you can stream the show on the Discovery Plus app.

When do new episodes of 'Love It or List It' air?

New episodes of Love It or List It air Mondays at 8 p.m. EST. The show 18th season kicked off on Oct. 11, 2021. "Love It or List It is a proven ratings driver for HGTV and consistently serves as a winning alternative to Monday night football,” Allison Page, president of HGTV, previously said.

"The audience values Hilary and David’s deep real estate and renovation expertise and enjoys their fun, on-screen chemistry. We are excited to bring viewers a fresh season of this enduring hit." Us too!

Hilary also has her own new show called 'Tough Love.'

Tough Love is available to stream on the Discovery Plus app. The first season will feature eight one-hour-long episodes. We'll definitely be tuning in!
