If you're a fan of 13 Reasons Why, you've most likely already seen the Season 3 trailer, which dropped on August 1.

Based on the trailer, it seems like the the plot of the third season mainly revolves around the death of a main character, Bryce Walker. And although fans aren't necessarily grieving his loss (as he's a trouble-making antagonist on the show), you are probably wondering who killed him. And trust me — you aren't alone on that one.

In case you haven't seen the trailer yet, let me fill you in.

The first scene depicts the moments following the death of Bryce Walker. Deputy Standall and Alex Standall’s dad are surrounded by flashing cop cars amidst an investigation.

Then, a voiceover comes on. “Here’s the thing about Liberty High... They’re connected by their secrets. Connected and forever changed.”

The scene cuts to other characters, showing Tony Padilla, Tyler Down, and Justin Foley, who are suspiciously closing the trunk of Tony’s car.

Zach Dempsey is seen sitting on the bleachers with Bryce's girlfriend, Chloe Rice, while Jessica Davis is deeply involved in an argument with Montgomery de la Cruz in the hallway.

Later, Alex Standall is seen choking out Montgomery in a school bathroom.

Who killed Bryce Walker on 13 Reasons Why? He had a lot of enemies.

The voiceover drones on. "The truth is, given the right circumstances, the right motivation, anyone could have done this."

The camera catches a snippet of Clay Jensen, who is standing by himself in the dark, before it cuts to Bryce's funeral. The camera pans to a framed photo of him, which is ceremoniously placed next to the casket.

It makes sense that someone had it out for Bryce.

Despite his "popular" status, Bryce Walker is universally unliked.

You may remember during Season 1, when he sexually assaults Hannah Baker and Jessica Davis. He is a widely regarded predator and bully.

In season 2, Hannah's family sues Liberty High for negligence, and Justin Foley declares himself a witness, claiming he saw the assault. But Bryce is let off the hook, given a punishment of community service.

He has a ton of negative allegations against him, and isn't getting the punishment he deserves. So that explains why he was killed.

Was the murderer one of his rape victims?

Maybe it was someone sticking up for Hannah, or maybe it was Jessica, who could have been seeking out vengeance.

He never received the punishment he deserved, so it's definitely a possibility.

It also could have been one of the many victims who were bullied by Bryce.

Everyone knows that Bryce is a prep and a bully at Liberty High. Maybe it was someone on the baseball or football team, it could have been Tyler, or could have even been Clay.

While killing isn't necessarily the answer to persecuting someone for bullying, his murder may have been the result of how he's treated people over the years.

While the mystery of Bryce's murder is yet to be resolved, it's getting me seriously psyched to watch the latest and (hopefully) greatest season.

13 Reasons Why, Season 3 will premiere on August 23 on Netflix.
