If you were to ask some Americans a few months ago (and let's be honest, maybe even now), they'd tell you that Obamacare and the Affordable Care Act are completely different things.
Which is mind-blowing, because they're exactly the same thing, which has led to some pretty cringe-inducing mix-ups and arguments on social media.
One of Trump's biggest campaign promises was to abolish Obamacare and replace it with a better healthcare plan for Americans. That "better" healthcare program is the American Healthcare Act, which is being criticized by even Republicans, who've pretty much called it a crappy version of the Affordable Care Act. Basically, AHA will be more expensive and cover fewer people than Obamacare, which was already a flawed healthcare solution by itself.
Some people summed up why "Trumpcare" (it was actually introduced by the GOP) is such a controversial hot mess in pretty plain terms.
Some people on Twitter decided to sum up the differences between ACA and AHA in the best way possible: with memes.
The formula is a simple one, but it pretty much sums up how everyone feels about Trump's healthcare plan.
I mean, the pictures say it all.
AHA is also going to cut funding for Planned Parenthood, which means 2.5 million may lose their access to mammograms and birth control. Make America great again, right?
