'Siesta Key' Star Brandon Gomes Reveals He Had a Baby With a Mystery Woman

25-year-old Brandon Gomes announced during the Siesta Key reunion episode airing on Tuesday, Aug. 25, 2020, that he and an unnamed woman he had an affair with while dating Camilla Cattaneo have just had a baby. 

The aspiring musician claimed that he had a one-night stand on the episode. His long-term girlfriend refuted this claim, stating that Brandon was thought to have been involved with his other partner for five months. 

Brandon shared the big news during an explosive Siesta Key reunion episode, contending that he had a one-night stand and that he hadn't been told about the pregnancy in advance. Reportedly, however, the unnamed woman the star was having an affair with did try to contact him about the developments, which he ignored. 

"I'm going through a lot, and I'm dealing with a lot and I'm doing what's right [...] Honestly, when that came up and knowing what I was about to put Camilla and knowing what I have to step into, I completely lost it. My anxiety was out of control," Brandon remarked during the Siesta Key reunion episode, as per People.  

"I've made some extremely bad decisions [...] it's on me. I'm responsible for it. It's my responsibility, I made some mistakes," he said. 

His long-term girlfriend, Camilla, was far from happy about the unexpected turn of events. As she revealed during the Siesta Key reunion episode, Brandon told her about the baby via a phone call, which she found less than satisfactory. 

In turn, Camilla got in touch with the unnamed woman — whose version of the story sounds somewhat different to that of Brandon's. According to Camilla, the woman told her that she was dating Brandon for five months, and that she tried to contact him about the baby only for the star to block her. 

"He tells me, 'I had a one night stand with this girl, and she's telling me that she has a kid and it's mine.' [...] I talked to the girl and she tells me that Brandon knew the whole time that she was pregnant and decided to block her when she said she was keeping the baby," Camilla explained during the episode, as per People. 

Brandon has pledged to remedy his past mistakes during the Siesta Key reunion episode. 

"I don't want anyone thinking that I'm not stepping up and I'm not going to be a dad [...] That's not what's going on. The situation is what it is and I'm dealing with it. I'm going to step up and I'm going to be the best man I possibly can be," he remarked. 

Asked about whether he intended to play an active role in the baby's life, Brandon became more hesitant.

"I don't know the girl. I don't know," he claimed. 

"I'm not going to hide, I'm not going to run from the kid [...]" Brandon added later on. 

Unfortunately, there's not much information available on Brandon's baby mama. Her name, location, and profession are currently unknown.

However, Brandon did share a photo capturing him with a baby named Quincy on Tuesday, Aug. 25, 2020, on Instagram. It's unconfirmed whether the baby was his — but if so, the post might mark the first step in the right direction.
