Fans Are Annoyed With How Gizelle Asked Candiace About Her Nose Job on 'RHOP'

During an episode of The Real Housewives of Potomac that aired in late August 2020, Gizelle Bryant started some drama by asking Candiace Dillard Bassett if she had gotten a nose job. Apparently, viewers and cast members had been speculating about Candiace's seemingly more petite nose for awhile, and Gizelle thought she'd get the truth out of Candiace. However, Candiace denied having a nose job at any point of her life.
Did Candiace Dillard get a nose job?
Candiace took to Twitter on Aug. 31 and wrote, "This is the same nose the Lord gave me. Whet I get it done, I'll take y'all with me to the surgery slab. But WHILE we're talking about surgeries that NEED to be done..." And if you do look through Instagram, you'll notice Candiace's nose as more or less looked the same as an adult.
Does her nose look different when she was a little girl? Sure, but all of our noses change shape as we get older.

Some take issue with how Gizelle asked about the nose job.
If you watched the episode, you know that after Candiace says she majored in African American studies after being the only woman of color at her school, Gizelle asked, "Is that why you got your nose job?" And that didn't sit right with some fans.
"When Candiace revealed her colorism issues that she had to deal with in HS, the light skinned woman asked her if that was the reason she had an alleged nose job," another tweeted.
Others were just peeved Gizelle asked that after she and Candiace just made up. "Did Candiace get a nose job?!? Where the hell that came from Gizelle?!? Ugh she is so awful," one Twitter user posted.
"Giselle [sic] trying to expose Candiace's alleged nose job to embarrass her literally minutes after 'making up' with her," another fan wrote on Twitter, expressing their disgust.
However, some fans still think Candiace got a nose job.
Not that it's a big deal if she did — and ultimately, any changes she makes to her body are her decisions to make, and they're nobody's business.
"Saw where someone said that Candiace may have had filler injected into her nose. There are so many advanced dermatological techniques available now. Or may be she really had a nose job. A good nose job makes the person look like their nose is well contoured," a Twitter user offered.
Ultimately, we can speculate all we want, but Candiace's last words on the subject are that she didn't get a nose job. Perhaps future episodes will shed more light on whether that's the truth or not.
