Charlie Kirk's Murder Case Takes a Surprising Turn — Here's What Candace Owens Is Saying

After an unforeseen update rocked the murder investigation of Charlie Kirk, Candace Owens has begun sharing her thoughts on the matter. The conservative commentator has had a lot to say about the assassination of Charlie, entertaining speculations and possibilities that most mainstream media outlets have dismissed as conspiracy theories and unverified rumors.

Candace has been particularly interested in the behaviour of Charlie’s widow, Erika Kirk. She has spoken about numerous theories involving Erika, and even produced a documentary with her “findings” called Bride of Charlie.

Tyler Robinson is the prime accused in the murder of Charlie, who was turned in by his own grandfather when Tyler’s father recognised the gun that was gifted to Tyler. However, a shock update has changed the course of the investigation and has been taken as confirmation for certain claims that Candace made.

New filings that have been admitted to the court by Tyler’s defence attorney allege that the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) "was unable to identify the bullet recovered at autopsy to the rifle allegedly tied to Mr. Robinson."

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is currently conducting more analyses on the bullet, but the results of those are yet to be received.

Tyler’s defence lawyers may file the finding as “exculpatory evidence;” it holds up to scrutiny that the bullet extracted from Charlie was indeed not fired from the gun that was recovered on the scene.

However, they have clarified, according to RadarOnline.com, “Again, until the defence receives the case files and protocols relating to these analyses, and has had them independently evaluated by its expert, they will not be in a position to assess the reliability of this evidence if either the State or the defence decides to proffer it."

Tyler currently faces a potential death sentence for the killing of Charlie at a Turning Point USA event in Utah on Sept. 10, 2025.

Quoting an X post about the update published by the Daily Mail, Candace called out the “neocons” (short for neoconservatives) for believing that Tyler was the actual murderer of Charlie. The political commentator has long speculated that there is a wider conspiracy behind the murder of Charlie, linking his assassination with Israel and other actors that she believes work against American interests.

In a post on X, Candace wrote, “Where are all my neocons who have been 'overwhelmed' by the non-existent evidence against Tyler Robinson? You should all be ashamed of yourselves. Hope the money was worth your soul.”

Candace has time and time again accused Erika of profiting off of Charlie’s death, and brought up several events and internal communication that she thinks seem to point toward a larger conspiracy. Candace has, for quite some time, been a controversial figure in right-wing circles, and has only become more divisive since the release of the documentary, Bride of Charlie.
