The point of The Mole is for one unnamed contestant to be a secret spy among the other players to sabotage the game at every turn. But the kicker is that the audience is as in the dark about it as the players, and when the players are cast for The Mole, they don't know right away which role they're going to fill. Plenty of fans still opt to try signing up for the show anyway.

How do you sign up for 'The Mole'?

Like many other Netflix reality shows, the casting for The Mole appears to be an ongoing thing. The website for signing up for The Mole says that the show is accepting applicants on an "ongoing" basis. All you have to do is submit a one-minute video detailing why you should be cast on The Mole. Sounds simple, right?

If you're into more of an application in the traditional sense, Netflix does open sign-ups that way ahead of new seasons. However, when Season 2 was announced, the casting application for that method was already closed. It wouldn't hurt to continuously check back there, however, along with the Netflix site where you can submit a video at any time.

What are the age limits and requirements for contestants on 'The Mole'?

According to a fan on reddit, prior to the application closing, there were some details about what producers were allegedly looking for in potential players. The fan wrote that producers were looking for players from a variety of career backgrounds, including kindergarten teachers, attorneys, and scuba diving instructors. As far as the age bracket goes, apparently The Mole expects applicants to be between the ages of 18 and 65.

The oldest player in Season 1 of the Netflix revival was 40-year-old Joi. Season 2's Andy is the oldest player of the second installment at 65. However he's here to prove himself, and with the age cutoff being right at 65, he just made it into the season.

Most listings for casting for The Mole have also mentioned the need for around 11 traditional players and one player who acts as the saboteur. Though everyone who applies should have that mindset in case they are chosen by producers to be the mole. Whether or not they can fool everyone else is the real question.
