Starbucks' Summer Games Is Here, and Entering to Win Is So Worth It

Although the 2020 Summer Olympics are sadly postponed until 2021, it seems as though we can still anticipate a riveting series of competitive summer games sponsored by the one and only Starbucks. The Seattle-based coffee chain is running their annual Summer Games, which is open to each and every rewards member to participate in.
If you're one of many coffee enthusiasts who are eagerly looking to win Starbucks' summer games, we're providing tips and tricks to come out on top in the highly competitive series. Winners could essentially earn endless amounts of free food and beverages in the form of rewards points, which is all we could ever ask for.
Here's how to win Starbucks' Summer Games, if you're eager to score free drinks:
Starbucks officially kicked off its Summer Games series on July 21, only two days before the Tokyo 2020 Olympics were supposed to begin, and even if you're a few days late to start playing, you're in luck, because the series runs for an entire month (through Aug. 23). To play, you'll have to make sure you're signed up as a Starbucks Rewards member before you log into the Starbucks Summer Games website.
After logging in, you'll play a game that Delish describes as being "similar to pinball." You'll release a ball and depending on where it lands, you'll potentially win a prize. If it lands in a bucket, you'll instantly win, and if it falls, you'll be automatically entered into the "Grand Prize Sweepstakes." Your first play is free, but moving forward, you'll be required to make a purchase to play. But regardless of how many drinks you buy in a day, you'll have a two-play-per-day limit.

The Starbucks Summer Games instant win prizes are pretty incredible. According to the official rules, a total of 2,500 "instant winners" will be rewarded with 200 bonus stars, 5,000 people will receive 150 bonus stars, and 150,000 will be able to get a free cold brew or iced coffee beverage coupon. More stars equate to more free food and drinks, so although these aren't "grand prizes," they're great nonetheless.
Additionally, Starbucks will be selecting 100 grand prize winners in total by Aug. 24 who could receive between 500 and 30,000 bonus stars. Tens of thousands of points could basically get you free food and drinks through the end of the summer, so needless to say, this could be a major blessing for iced coffee addicts and southwest veggie wrap fans across the globe.
Whether you're obsessed with Starbucks' cake pops, you love cooling off with an ice-cold Frappuccino, or if the quality of your work simply depends on Starbucks, signing up as a Rewards Member (for free!) and playing the Starbucks Summer Game each time you make a purchase is seriously worth your time.
