Who is Carlson Young from 'Emily in Paris'?

As fictional actress Brooklyn Clark on the "French Ending" episode of Emily in Paris, Carlson's character is the complete opposite of Emily Cooper. While Emily is a rules-follower and a people-pleaser, Brooklyn tests the limits by name-calling, dissing clothing and the people around her, and partying instead of following through on her itinerary.

Emily is tasked with making sure that Brooklyn is doing what she's supposed to while Sylvie (Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu) is on vacation, and it proves to be a more difficult feat than she could have imagined.

The actress is getting a lot of attention online for playing the bratty American movie star on Emily in Paris (and for having a familiar face). The Texas native is the daughter of Marshall and Susan Young.

She got her Hollywood start as Tiffany Brooke on the Disney Channel short series As the Bell Rings, which aired on the network between 2007 and 2009.

The five-minute show aired in between episodes of other programs, and it centered around a group of high school students. Demi Lovato appeared on the first season, and MKTO frontman Tony Oller also starred on the series.

Carlson studied Creative Writing at the University of Southern California. She left the university after one year in order to continue to pursue acting, and once she booked Scream: The TV Series in 2015.

On the MTV adaptation of the successful horror film franchise, Carlson played Brooke Maddox, the daughter of the Lakewood mayor. She kept the role for two seasons, but she was not present for the third and final one.

Following her time on Scream Queens, Carlson has been in multiple short films, including 50 Ways, Date, and Trudge. She is starring alongside Luke Wilson and Robert Duvall in 12 Mighty Orphans, which is currently in post-production, as is her movie A Pity

Is Carlson Young married?

The Scream Star got engaged to Isom Innis in 2016, almost immediately after the two were rescued from a mountain in Iceland. The pair got stuck in freezing temperatures while a snowstorm was going on, and they had to call for help to get out.

Carlson and Isom got married at her childhood church in Fort Worth, Tex. in 2017.

Isom is a musician, who is best known for playing  the keyboard for the band Foster the People.
