Fat Pikachu is trending on Twitter because he is so fat and so cute.

But Fat Pikachu isn't the only "Gigantamax" Pokémon in these new games. Get ready for elephant-sized Eevee, massive Meowth, big ol' Butterfree, and chonky Charizard as well. I know. It is going to be the best.

According to The Mary Sue, these "Gigantamax" forms are "a special kind of evolution that was created for this new incarnation for the long-running video game franchise. Gigantamaxing during a battle increases a Pokémon's size and stats, as well as giving them a special ability."

That is a special ability besides instantly becoming ten times more adorable. Of course, not every Pokémon can achieve this giant form. This ability is reserved for only the best.

How do you get Fat Pikachu?

Gigantamax Pikachu is only available to players who have "play records" from Pokémon: Let's Go, Pikachu! on their Nintendo Switch. "That is the same case for the new Gigantamax Eevee, which will require play records from Pokémon: Let's Go, Eevee!. Gigantamax Meowth is an early-purchase bonus for Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield."

In order to grab Gigantamax Meowth, players "will need to select the 'Get via Internet option in Mystery Gift' between Friday, Nov. 15, 2019 and Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2020, according to Polygon

Needless to say, the entire internet has gone crazy for Fat Pikachu and his chonky pals. Don't you just want to cuddle with them?

What can Fat Pikachu do?

In the trailer released on Oct. 16, you can learn all about Fat Pikachu's new abilities. They include new moves and the ability to paralyze one's opponents.

As for Gigantamax Eevee, there's a new move called the "G-max cuddle," which renders all opposite-gender opponents "infatuated." I love that so much.

Gigantamax Charizard can breathe a lot of fire — and I mean a lot — big Butterfree has the ability to cause "poison, paralysis, or asleep status," and Long Meowth "confuses all targets and earns an in-game cash bonus." Nothing wrong with that!
