Before stepping into the roles of wife and mother, Janelle's love life took us on a wild ride — including a "showmance" with the notorious Big Brother player, Dr. Will Kirby. Amidst various flings, however, it appears Janelle struck gold with her husband, Jess DeSanto.
Their love story began long before the wedding bells chimed – a whopping 12 years, to be exact. Janelle and Jess first crossed paths at the University of Minnesota-Duluth. They were friends, but their connection deepened over the years until they decided to take the plunge, which led to an engagement in 2009 and exchanging vows in 2010.
Fast forward to today, Janelle, Jess, and their three kids call Edina, Minn., home sweet home. Janelle's day job involves rocking the real estate industry, and her bio on the Edina Realty website reflects her go-getter attitude in both the real world and the Big Brother house.
"As a self-motivated workaholic, I have a little different outlook on real estate," Janelle's bio reads. "Not only do I get results for my clients, but I also work hard to turn buying or selling a house into a pleasant process. I live and breathe real estate and do whatever it takes to represent my clients."
Jess DeSanto works at DeSanto Investments group with his brother.
According to Screen Rant, Jess is the owner and operator of the AmericInn in Apple Valley, Minn., a town in proximity to Janelle and her family's residence. The AmericInn is part of his investment group, Desanto Investments.
He runs the group alongside his brother, Jake. As of 2012, Desanto Investments was believed to own three hotels and seven rental properties throughout Minnesota and Wisconsin.
Janelle and Jess have three children together.
As reported by Heavy, Janelle and Jess are the proud parents of three children. After their wedding in 2010, the happy couple wasted no time in growing their family with the arrival of three little ones!
Their eldest, Violet Anne, was born in 2011, followed by their only son, Lincoln William, in 2013. The youngest, Stella, joined the family in 2014. In addition to their kids, they also share their home with a pup named Sprinkles.
