'RHORI' Star Kelsey Swanson Allegedly Has Two Boyfriends, and One Is Filthy Rich

To label Kelsey Swanson’s love life as unconventional is an understatement. Because there are several layers to it, and they seem to get more complex each time one is turned over.

Kelsey made her debut as a regular on the Bravo series The Real Housewives of Rhode Island, which premiered on April 2, 2026, and in the first episode, viewers learned she’s dating a man she only spends half the year with (he spends the other half with another woman).

So is he married, and she’s like the side chick? Let’s call him boyfriend number one.

She also apparently has another man in her life, who we’ll call boyfriend number two. Naturally, the sheer mention of these relationships immediately got the internet talking, with everyone trying to piece together what her romantic setup actually looks like. So let’s get into it.

Kelsey Swanson’s love life is very different from most people’s, based on how she describes it, and it has definitely sparked a lot of speculation and skepticism.

In the season premiere of The Real Housewives of Rhode Island, Kelsey revealed in a confessional that her boyfriend, whom she’s been with for roughly 10 years (possibly longer), spoils her endlessly. She says she gets to live in a 16,000-square-foot mansion in New England rent-free and doesn’t have to work.

According to her, her boyfriend comes from “one of the most prominent families in the state of Rhode Island” and has allowed her “a life of not having to work.” She added, “I live a life of luxury and I've been lucky to be a lady of leisure for 10 years now.”

The mansion she calls home boasts “four kitchens” and “79 TVs,” and presumably an impressive closet, which she calls the “best part.” In fact, the home is so large she says, “We have to stay in a different zip code just to get to the bedroom.”

But here’s the catch. This boyfriend, whose identity she’s choosing not to reveal, is only there for about half the year.

She says that for about five months out of the year, he lives in Miami, leaving her in an empty house. But wait, there’s more. During his time in Miami, he’s with someone else. While she says he’s “a good man,” she also notes that he “dates multiple people,” and she doesn’t seem to have too much of a problem with that, except that she admits she’s getting older and wants more for herself, like “a committed relationship with one person.”

Still, she hints that she likely won’t get that with boyfriend number one, saying, “He is who he is and either I accept it, or I have to leave.”

In a preview for upcoming episodes of RHORI, Kelsey can be heard saying, “The two people in my life are the most wonderful people ever,” which left some of the other cast members confused. After initially revealing she has a man who wines and dines her for half the year and pays for everything, she then adds that there are “two people in my life,” which only prompts more questions into her relationship setup.

Obviously, Kelsey is keeping many of the intricate details under wraps, including who these people are, because revealing too much would likely make things very messy for everyone involved. But she did clarify in the premiere episode that she’s not a “sugar baby,” because her boyfriend is actually attractive, adding, “The money is a plus.” As for that second person, more is expected to be revealed about them in future episodes of RHORI.
