Kyle Filipowski's girlfriend was by his side as he waited — and waited — to be drafted.

Kyle was expected to be picked early in the NBA draft, but instead, didn't get selected until the 32nd pick by the Utah Jazz.

While he sat in the green room, he was reportedly consoled by Caitlin Hutchison.

Caitlin, who said "yes" to Kyle's marriage proposal in April 2024, is older than her future husband, and bizarrely, after the former Duke player did not go in the first round at the draft, she was blamed by the media.

Jonathan Givony made allegations about her on The Lowe Post, saying, "He has an older girlfriend, she's like 25 or 26 and people are like 'Ah, this is weird' and it's like give me a freaking break guys." Jonathan then added, "He doesn't talk to his parents..."

In fact, TikTok user @betr discussed that the basketball player's family, from whom he is reportedly estranged, said that Caitlin groomed Kyle and forced his hand to go to Utah for a very interesting reason.

Indeed, she is Mormon, and may have desired for the couple to head to Utah, the population of which is 42 percent Mormon.

Meanwhile, Kyle's brother Daniel has been tweeting about how no one really knows what is going on with Kyle and his girlfriend.

Kyle Filipowski's own brother and mom are suggesting his Mormon girlfriend is grooming him.

With Kyle now headed to play for the Utah Jazz, Daniel Filipowski and the boys' mom, Becky, are urging fans to look up basic details of Mormon grooming to understand what is going on with the new NBA player.

Daniel in part exposed the family's dirty laundry by tweeting, "No sir... you got it backward. She forced him to cut us off from his life almost two years ago. Sent us an email and everything. Basically the official 'goodbye letter.'"

Indeed, Kyle does not appear to be in contact with his family, and Daniel even says that other than messaging him on social media, he has no idea how to even get in touch with the new Utah Jazz player.

Kyle Filipowski reportedly does not speak to his parents or three brothers.

Per multiple sources, including the New York Post, Kyle is allegedly not in contact with his family, including his parents, David and Rebecca, and his three brothers, Daniel, Taylor, and Matthew.

At time of writing, neither Kyle nor Caitlin had responded to the allegations about her grooming him, or if his going to the Utah Jazz has anything to do with Mormonism.
