Things for Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Heather Gay are going very well. Her memoir widened her personal platform significantly and she's been quoted in session by a US congressman. She's lost weight thanks to Ozempic and she is not shy about discussing it. Needless to say, things are looking up for her. Now, she's in the midst of developing a brand new docuseries inspired by her memoir, Bad Mormon. The docuseries is in its early stages and more news will hopefully be soon to come.

The most recent season of RHOSLC was one that will go down in Bravo history. The fourth season included a new housewife, Monica Garcia. Heather learned that Monica was one of the people behind the troll account Reality VonTease and confronted her in front of all the women during the finale. She first gained this information from her hairdresser, who was another person behind the account. The finale was a big moment for Heather, as it quickly became a very popular meme.

Heather Gay is developing a docuseries inspired by her memoir, 'Bad Mormon.'

Heather has partnered up with the "Mormon Stories" podcast to develop a new docuseries. The Mormon Stories website shared, "We are super excited to announce a new TV project in development led by ex-Mormon Heather Gay." Heather's book, Bad Mormon, tells her story from childhood all the way through her marriage, divorce, and the decision to leave the church. The book provides a peek behind the curtain of the notoriously secretive church of Latter-day Saints, aka the Mormon church.

With the project in development, Heather is now seeking stories from real ex-Mormons..

The project, which is currently untitled, has the goal of creating more transparency around the Mormon church. Heather said of the project, "To all my Bad Mormons — The last few years have brought me so many incredible experiences... The most formative has been being able to walk through my faith transition," She continued, "I hope to extend this opportunity to those who might be struggling with similar issues." Former members of the church interested in telling their stories can reach out via email.

What's going on with season five of ‘RHOSLC?’

The end of Season 4 was an incredible one for fans of the franchise. The Reality Von Tease revelation was major and the three -part reunion was equally engaging. Unfortunately, Monica was fired from the show, likely because the other ladies from the core four refused to film with her. Season five began filming in February 2024, according to Us Weekly, and will likely premiere September 2024. It will be interesting to see how season five pans out, as the women are still likely reeling from Hurricane Monica.
