Stevie Wonder had two kids with Yolanda Simmons — Aisha and Keita Morris

Stevie had his two eldest children, Aisha (born 1975) and Keita (born 1977), with a woman named Yolanda Simmons. She worked at Stevie’s publishing company throughout the '70s.

Just like her dad, Aisha — who was the inspiration behind Stevie's shit "Isn't She Lovely" — went on to become a successful singer.

In an interview with Las Vegas Black Image in 2010, Mumtaz revealed his father was his biggest musical inspiration.

"He is a tremendous musical influence for me. Especially when it comes to playing the piano and writing music, I often think about his creative process. My mother, Melody McCulley, also influenced me. She sang with my father for years," he said. "My father gives me a lot of feedback and support for my music. But he is very careful not to get too involved, and I understand why."

Sofia and Kwame, his fourth and fifth children, are mothered by an unknown woman.

Sofia (born 1985) and Kwame (born 1988) have stayed out of the spotlight for the most part. However, she is in the entertainment industry, just working behind the scenes. According to her Instagram bio, she is a producer and ambassador for the UN.

In 2020, she was a producer for UNESCO's World Day for African and Afrodescent Culture. More recently, she worked on the Global Citizen Accra concert.

The singer has two kids with his third and current wife, Tomeeka Robyn Bracy.

Very little is known about Stevie's two youngest kids, although it was reported that the couple shares two daughters named Zaniah and Nyah, born in 2014.

“When I sing ’Isn’t She Lovely,’ yes, I think about Aisha, my oldest child, but the song also makes me think of Nyah, my newborn daughter. She’s lovely, too,” he told GQ in 2015. “Relationships bring about experiences — thoughts, emotions, expressions. All of those things create music.”

Stevie is prepared to move to Ghana to protect his family.

The star is protective of his family— even if that means moving to another country.

Per People, Stevie is ready to leave the U.S. behind and move to Ghana. And it's all in an effort to shield his lineage of grandchildren and great-grandchildren from racial injustice in the U.S.

"I am, because I don't want to see my children's children's children have to say, 'Oh, please like me. Please respect me. Please know that I am important. Please value me.' What kinda life is that?" he says to Oprah Winfrey during an interview.

At the time, he told a Washington gathering of the International Association of African American Music that he had fallen in love with the country and "there's more of a sense of community there."

In 2024, Stevie became an official citizen of Ghana.

“First and foremost, I give all praise to God. Since I was a young boy, I’ve always believed in my heart that nothing is impossible. Guided by the spirit of the Most High, I’ve harbored the desire to come to Ghana for many years… Since around 1972," he shared. "For over 50 years, I’ve discussed the idea of being a citizen of this country. Now, as a Ghanaian citizen, I am committed to fulfilling the dream we’ve cherished for so long—uniting people of African descent and the diaspora. The world can only achieve unity when we, as a global community, come together."
