When you're a contestant on a game show like, oh, I don't know, Wheel of Fortune, they always do those generic introductions where you're supposed to talk about how beautiful your spouse is and how wonderful your children are. They're generally not very interesting and kind of a waste of time.

But then, Blair Davis popped up on Wheel of Fortune and changed the contestant intro game forever. The bearded man from Cardiff, Calif. decided to get super real when Pat Sajak gave him the mic to tell us about himself.

Who is Blair Davis from Wheel of Fortune?

"You own a trucking business," Pat started. The interaction seemed normal enough. "Small trucking business in San Diego, yep," Blair confirmed. But it was when Pat said, "Talk about your family," that Blair really let loose.

"I've been trapped in a loveless marriage for the last 12 years," Blair states matter-of-factly as the crowd begins to giggle, "to an old battle-ax named Kim." I'm sure Kim really appreciated this. But if that wasn't enough, Blair kept going!

"She cursed my life with three step-children named Star, RJ, and Ryan, and I have one rotten grandson," Blair continued with a beaming smile on his face. Pat Sajak found it all very hilarious and shouted, "Yay!" when Blair finally finished. "No wonder you came here. You just wanted to get away from everybody."

Immediately, people everywhere started talking about the bleakest Wheel of Fortune introduction ever. Blair became a folk hero of sorts on Twitter, where he was praised for his honesty.

"Blair is the darkest @WheelofFortune contestant ever," one Twitter user wrote.

But don't worry. Blair's intro was all in good fun.

"I know you're being facetious," Pat allowed after everyone had collected themselves. "Absolutely," Blair said. "I love them like nobody's business." Of course he does! He just thought he'd come on national TV and bad-mouth his family for fun.

I hope they have a sense of humor about it! (I'm sure they do.)

This is, weirdly, ten times better than just doing a genuine, boring introduction of his family members and shows off just how much he cares about them, even if he's actually saying that he doesn't.

Blair continued to explain that he has that giant beard of his because his grandson got really upset at the prospect of him shaving it off. So that dedicated grandpa is going to keep his big Santa Claus beard as long as his grandson insists upon it.

It is really hard to stand out in the massive pool of daily Wheel of Fortune contestants, but Blair Davis did so with an adorable takedown of the family he clearly loves so much. He went completely viral because of his intro and he went home with $6,000, so that is not a bad night, am I right?

"He is my new hero!" one Twitter user wrote, and I think that's now true for a lot of us.
