It's hard to believe it has been 15 years since the premiere of Dancing With the Stars on ABC. Season 1 of the reality dance competition debuted on June 1, 2005 — and featured celebrities such as future winner Kelly Monaco.

The pro dancers, which included Louis Van Amstel and Alec Mazo, proved to be just as popular as the famous amateur dancers, with many becoming household names themselves.

Louis never won the Mirrorball Trophy, but he did make it to the Season 9 finale with Kelly Osbourne. Today, he is still dancing and a father to adopted son, Daniel Van Amstel.
