Colby From ‘Survivor’ Is Married, but His Online Activity Has Fans Asking Questions
Fans noticed something odd on his social media, and it didn’t take long for questions to start.

There have been many contestants on CBS’s Survivor over the years. For many, Colby Donaldson is a favorite. After all, he’s had four different runs on the show. He made his first appearance during Season 2 in 2001. Then, he returned for All-Stars in 2004 and Heroes vs. Villains in 2010. Fast forward to 2026, and he returned a fourth time for Season 50.
Given how many times he has appeared on the show, it is no surprise that fans have taken a vested interest in his personal life. While most Survivor fans who have followed Colby Donaldson over the years know he is married, his social media activity has had fans rushing to Reddit more than a few times to ask if that was still the case.
So, is Colby from Survivor married? More importantly, why does this question constantly resurface?

According to Swoon, Colby has been married to Britt Bailey since September 2016. She’s an interior designer and business owner. The two have seemingly built a beautiful life together in Texas.
Between the years of 2021 and 2023, fans noticed that Colby’s Instagram didn’t have many — if any — photos of Britt. As a result, it didn’t take long for some Survivor fans to question if there was trouble in paradise.
Back in 2023, a Reddit user posted about the situation after noticing what looked like a wiped Instagram.
“Every once in a while, I check the Instagram posts of my fave Survivors,” they wrote. “Today I noticed that Colby’s page is wiped clean of any photos of his wife.”
Just like that, the speculation and opinions started to roll in.
Some people didn’t see the big deal. Others immediately jumped to conclusions. One user replied, “They both scrubbed each other from their Instagram page. What more of an update are you looking for?”
Another joked that the original poster might just be hoping Colby was single.
Of course, not everyone was entertained. A few commenters called the whole thing “creepy” and pointed out that fans digging into someone’s marriage might be crossing a line.
Colby is married, but there have been signs his relationship hasn’t been perfect.
While Colby and Britt have been together for years, their relationship hasn’t been completely without bumps.
In February 2025, Britt shared an Instagram post that hinted at a rough patch. She described their relationship as being in a “rebuilding” phase and called it a “second chance.”
“Who knew second chances could feel this amazing?” she wrote. She added that their relationship was now “stronger, happier, and full of all the good stuff.”
Without saying the words, this post confirmed what some fans had suspected. Colby and his wife had split at some point. They, however, seemed to be picking back up and trying to be together again as of 2025.
As of 2026, Colby and his wife’s Instagram profiles suggest the two are still married and very much in love.
