Actress, television host, and comedian Niecy Nash has a lot going on, and she's been on the scene since 1995. Some of her most notable TV shows include Claws, Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story (for which she won a Golden Globe), and The Rookie: Feds.

Interestingly enough, Niecy has had the opportunity to appear in some of these roles alongside some of her children and her wife. These are the details.

How many children does Niecy Nash have?

Niecy Nash has three children: son Dominic Nash (born in 1991) and daughters Donielle Nash (born in 1995) and Dia Nash (born in 1999).

The actress currently shares all three kids with ex-husband Don Nash, whom she was married to from 1994 to 2007.

After her divorce from Don, Niecy married Jay Tucker in 2011. But in 2019, she filed for divorce from Jay. According to the Daily Mail sources, there were tensions among the couple regarding cosmetic surgery she had as well as her graphic sex scenes in Claws.

Niecy has been married to her wife, Jessica Betts, since 2020.

Niecy Nash's daughters have both starred on 'The Rookie: Feds' with her.

In the series The Rookie: Feds, Niecy plays main character Special Agent Simone Clark. In one episode, Niecy's daughter Dia played Simone's daughter Billie — and let's just say that they had the perfect mother-daughter rapport.

According to IMDb, Niecy also filmed an episode of The Rookie: Feds with her daughter Donielle. However, Donielle played the role of Pamela, who had no familial relationship with Simone.

IMDb also revealed that Dia appeared in Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story on Netflix alongside her mother as her onscreen daughter. The mother-daughter duo also starred in Claws together as well. Dia played the role of Desna for that one.

As such, it's obvious that Niecy’s daughters are interested in following in her footsteps in the acting industry. But what about Niecy’s son, Dominic? According to his IMDb page, he has two acting credits on his résumé from a TV show called H.E.I.R in 2017 and another called The Soul Man in 2015. Fingers crossed that we'll see him in a future episode of The Rookie: Feds with his mom soon.

Niecy Nash’s wife, Jessica Betts, has also appeared on 'The Rookie: Feds.'

Cleary Niecy is no stranger to taking on roles alongside her kids every now and then. And interestingly enough, she gets to experience the same excitement with her real-life wife, Jessica Betts.

According to Hello!, Niecy and Jessica’s relationship started off platonic following Niecy's divorce from her ex-husband Jay in 2019. They ended up tying the knot in 2020.

Niecy opened up about her marriage to Jessica with People, saying, “I loved her before I was in love with her because she is such a special human being. But we began to see each other in a way we never had before. Sometimes, you get so broken by love, you run from it. But I've learned that you should always hold space for magic because it can happen at any time."

Fortunately for Niecy and Jessica, they got to show this love on camera during an episode of The Rookie: Feds, as the character Simone is sexually fluid and emotionally open. Naturally, the chemistry between their characters was insane.

This was refreshing, to say the least, as they are tons of investigative cop shows that focus on brooding male characters who are incapable of being super vulnerable. Bottom line: We love to see Niecy incorporate her loved ones into her work!
