What is Starbucks' Yellow Drink?

The Yellow Drink literally tastes like a cup of sunshine, and was created by none other than Starbucks Secret Menu fanatics at Totally The Bomb. And luckily, the instructions for making the drink are simple. Start out by ordering a Venti Unsweetened Green Tea Lemonade with coconut milk and four pumps of agave. Ask them to shake it with ice, and you're all set.

Delish also made a suggestion for those of us seeking a little extra fun, which was to use your Yellow Drink as a base for a cocktail once you get home if you really want to feel like you're on vacation. Those who are 21 and over should definitely try adding some rum or tequila, because honestly, that sounds like the perfect warm weather concoction.

For a slightly lighter option, you can also order a "skinny" version of the Starbucks Yellow Drink.

If you're looking for something on the lighter side, Totally the Bomb also created a skinny version that only contains about 80 calories. Simply order a Venti Unsweetened Green Tea Lemonade with light lemonade and light coconut milk, one agave, and two servings of Stevia. Have them shake it all up with ice, and you'll have yourself a "skinny" Yellow Drink.

Are the regular and "skinny" version somewhat comparable? It sounds like the "skinny" version might be a little less sweet and slightly less creamy than the original Starbucks Yellow Drink, which also means it probably wouldn't work as well as a cocktail base. But, let's face it: both sound seriously delicious all the same. You won't want to put it down.

The chain is also now offering new cold brew flavors for summertime.

On June 23, Starbucks released two new flavors of cold brew to their mainstream menu nationwide, and one we're particularly excited about is the new Cold Brew with Cinnamon Almond Milk Foam. According to a press release, it features Starbucks Cold Brew topped with cinnamon, vanilla, and almond milk cold foam. Needless to say, it's a must-try.

For all choco-holics out there, Starbucks is also offering a new Cold Brew with Dark Cocoa Almond Milk Foam. It contains classic Starbucks Cold Brew, which is topped with mocha sauce, cocoa powder, and almond Milk cold foam. The best part about Starbucks' new cold brew-based drinks is that both are dairy free, and cater to just about anyone and everyone out there.
