The conservative organization Turning Point USA has responded following claims by Candace Owens that the organization's founder, Charlie Kirk, was betrayed by the organization and spread conspiracy theories about his death. Charlie was murdered in Oren, Utah, on Sept. 10, 2025, during a discussion about gun violence at Utah Valley University. The white nationalist was shot in front of the stunned crowd, and a local man, 22-year-old Tyler James Robinson, was later arrested for the murder.
Candace has claimed that Charlie messaged several people, saying that he worried that he would be assassinated and that he was betrayed. She also shared text messages by the late activist that said the Turning Point USA founder wanted to exit the pro-Israel cause. The podcast host also claimed on X that French President Emmanuel Macron plans to assassinate her over her false claims that his wife, Brigitte Trogneux, was born a man. Producer of The Charlie Kirk Show, Blake Neff, responded on Dec. 3.

Blake Neff responded to Candace during the Dec. 3 episode of The Charlie Kirk Show.
“We wanted to use this segment at the top of this hour to say something important, something very important," began the podcast host. "For the past two and a half months, there is a topic that has flooded our Freedom inbox. It has been nonstop on social media, but which we have almost totally avoided on this show. You probably already know what I’m talking about, which shows just how ubiquitous it has been."
"Ever since Charlie's murder, Candace Owens has leveled a flood of allegations against people at Turning Point USA, Turning Point Action, and those who work for this show," he said. "She has made them against some of Charlie's closest friends and most dedicated employees."
He went on to say that Candace "suggested" that Charlie's chief of staff, Michael McCoy, knew that "Charlie would be murdered and [was] happy he died."
"Charlie would not allow someone to spread lies about the people closest to him with impunity, and he would feel ashamed if others were defending his friends while he never did so himself."
'If Candace is available, we would sincerely welcome her participation in that livestream at our studio here in Phoenix,” he concluded. "At this point, we believe the ball is back in her court. Our motivation for doing this is not out of any obligation to Candace. It is about honoring Charlie."
"My friends have had to endure harassment from people who have gotten whipped up by what Candace is saying," he added. "I would say we have suffered more harassment from these people than we have from Antifa supporters who overtly celebrate Charlie’s murder."
Jeff also invited Candace to come on the podcast to discuss her accusations during a livestream.
Owens accepted the invitation on her podcast, per The Hill.
"They at long last issued a public invitation or a challenge," she said. "I'm not sure what it is, but I accept. OK. Quite literally, all we have ever asked for were sensible answers to our basic questions about what transpired on September 10."
