Live PD
Similar to the popular reality series Cops, Live PD follows patrol officers live, broadcasting select encounters involving law enforcement officers around the nation. Hosted by Dan Abrams, the show ran for four seasons before it was canceled in 2020 amid the Black Lives Matter movement and police brutality protests. At the time of its cancelation, Live PD was the most-watched show on its network and the most-watched show on cable on Friday primetime.
The show has a spin-off called Live Rescue, which focuses on firefighters and EMTs.
