Jujutsu Kaisen
The Japanese manga series Jujutsu Kaisen was originally illustrated and written by Gege Akutami and serialized in Weekly Shōnen Jump.
The story follows Yuji Itadori, a high school student who ends up becoming the host to a Curse (a malevolent spirit) named Ryomen Sukuna. Able to retain his humanity and even use Sukuna's power to an extent, Yuji joins the Tokyo Prefectural Jujutsu High School to learn how to hone his powers and fight other Curses, all while trying to remove Sukuna from his body.
The manga was adapted into an award-winning anime which debuted on Oct. 3, 2020. A prequel film entitled Jujutsu Kaisen 0 was released in 2021 to international box office success.
