For a number of reasons, the NFL has seen dwindling viewership in recent years ,but last night's 49ers-Rams game in San Fransisco took things to a whole new level.
Levi's stadium, which has a capacity of 68,500, had barely anyone show up. In fact it got so bad last night, that tickets with a face value of $85 were being sold $14. That's the equivalent of two pretzels at the stadium.
Once people began to notice how empty the stadium looked, the jokes began rolling in.
The 49ers ended up losing.
