The CBS sitcom Young Sheldon is a spin-off prequel to The Big Bang Theory. The show follows a young Sheldon Cooper, a child prodigy, who at 9 years old is attending the local high school and struggling to fit in. Young Sheldon is set in the late '80s and early '90s and takes place in Medford, Texas.
Jim Parsons, who played Sheldon Cooper on The Big Bang Theory, lends his voice to the series. Big Bang alums Kaley Cuoco and Mayim Bialik have also made cameos. Famous guest stars on Young Sheldon have also included Elon Musk, Bob Newhart, David Hasselhoff, and Reba McEntire.
