There is so much good Easter content from celebrities it's hard to focus in one any one person, but my blue ribbon goes to The Rock, who recycled an old costume for new, delightful results. First of all, The Rock loves dressing up SO much. He must have a whole closet full of mascot costumes for every occasion. For Easter, he broke out Pikachu, his daughter Jasmine's absolute fav.
In the post below, he briefly reveals how exhausted the man inside the Pokémon is before resuming the chase, but you know he's happy just to be wearing something goofy in front of the camera.
In the caption he writes, "The first time Jasmine's favorite character, Pikachu came to visit her months ago she was only crawling. For Easter Sunday @laurenhashianofficial and I thought, Pikachu should make a special visit once again. Well, Pikachu didn't account for the fact that now Jazzy RUNS and for 2hrs straight she wants to play her new favorite game, "I run away and you chase me Pikachu. And you're not allowed to take a break until I go night night."
At the end of the vid you can hear her yell, "Peekyu" because she can't say, Pikachu. I'm tired, today's my only day off, it's 118 degrees in this costume and Hobbs keep trying to p*ss on my leg. And I luv every minute of it. Bring it on. It's what daddy's do. Happy Easter to you guys and enjoy your families. #Rockachu #DaddyPuttinInWork#TheGameThatNeverEnds#PikachuLooksBloated."
Hey, we should all be so lucky as to be bloated like the Rock, amirite? And who wouldn't be happy bringing joy to this little girl:
Children are definitely more exhausting when they can run, but this is a much more successful experiment than the last time The Rock impersonated his daughter's favorite character:
On Halloween, Jasmine didn't have her sea legs yet, so she just cried and screamed until daddy danced himself stupid. Sometimes meeting your heroes can be overwhelming. Just wait until she's old enough to realize her dad is in there. He's her biggest hero of all!
