Only one month after its release, the wholesome and colorful battle royale game Fall Guys has already been downloaded tens of millions of times, despite only being available on the PlayStation and PC. Millions of players have logged on to play as brightly patterned, gravity-challenged blobs, making it the most downloaded PS Plus game of all time.
Despite being only one month into the game's premiere season, Fall Guys' developers have already hinted they have so much more planned for the game. We've already gotten a sneak peek at some of the courses and costumes set to release with Season 2, but the official Fall Guys Twitter account revealed something even bigger coming to the game soon. This mysterious new feature has only been dubbed "Big Yeetus."

What is "Big Yeetus"?
The official Fall Guys Twitter account leaked the first look at the "Big Yeetus" on Sept. 2, sharing a video of the feature coming to the game soon.
"I've got a SPICY LEAK for you all," the account wrote in a tweet. "We're working on a little something that we have been calling... B I G Y E E T U S."
With the tweet was a video of a fall guy on a course that looked very similar to the Dizzy Heights race, though the character was, quite literally, yeeted closer to the finish line by a large, swinging hammer. This, apparently, is the "Big Yeetus."
"Big Yeetus is Chaotic Neutral," the account said of the large hammer. "Big Yeetus is not your friend. Big Yeetus is not your enemy."
One follower also pointed out that, in the video, the falling balls that typically knock players over as they near the finish line were replaced by falling fruit. But Fall Guys chose not to comment on that specific disparity.
Of course, the news that a large, "chaotic neutral" hammer would randomly appear on various courses "to shake things up" left some fans skeptical. Even Fall Guys' developer, Mediatonic, chose not to officially comment on the looming hammer announcement.
"Following a deluge of media enquiries, we would like to confirm that we are not offering official press comment on the existence of this so-called 'Big Yeetus,'" the Mediatonic account tweeted.
When is "Big Yeetus" coming to 'Fall Guys'?
There has been no official announcement as to when exactly "Big Yeetus" will make its first menacing appearance, though it's speculated that it'll hit the game soon. As the developers have been actively listening to their fanbase, releasing updates based on their requests, it's possible the chaotic hammer will be coming to games before the end of Season 1.
The official Fall Guys account has also reached out to The Walking Dead star Norman Reedus, offering to let him "voice" the big hammer.
"Hi Norman Reedus @wwwbigbaldhead would you consider doing the voice for Big Yeetus?" Fall Guys tweeted at the actor. "It probably only says the word 'YEET', but it's basically the main character in our video game. It's mostly just a big hammer, but it's captured the hearts of the gaming community."
Norman has appeared in a couple of video games, though none as lighthearted as Fall Guys. He has yet to comment as to whether he is willing to consider their offer.
