Women Are Tweeting The Most Obvious Things That Were Mansplained To Them

By Mustafa Gatollari

Ahh yes, mansplaining. The phenomenon that seemingly exists everywhere, especially in STEM fields. I can't count the number of times when I worked at my university's computer lab where patrons would stand up and start telling a girl I worked with how to do her job. Little did they know she was an IT major who was a programming whiz.

Things got real awkward for them real quickly whenever they'd jump into her troubleshooting sessions with users and it became evident they had no idea what they were talking about. She'd always just smile after dropping some computing knowledge on them as they stammered, still unsure of what happened.

Sadly, mansplaining doesn't seem like it's going away. But that doesn't mean we can't roast those who mansplain to no end and call out people for their sexism, right?
