Netflix just proved that not all TV show promotions are created equal. Sure, any old slob could create internet banner ads and send out email blasts about a new show, but it takes a true visionary to promote something that'll generate genuine surprise and that ties into what the show is about.
So the streaming giant decided that the best way to promote its new show, "Disjointed" which stars Kathy Bates playing a woman who's living out her dreams of opening a dispensary, was to release their own strains of marijuana.
Yes. Really. I mean it's 2017, but, it sounds like something you'd only joke about, not actually do.
