Velcro Needs You To Know That That Thing You Call Velcro Isn't Actually Velcro

At a certain point, brand names just become so overused that people start to believe the brand name is the name of the actual item. When was the last time you Googled something on Bing? Or enjoyed a Coke that was actually a Pepsi?

Well, the lawyers of Velcro are pretty mad that people keep infringing their trademark. Apparently, the proper name for "velcro" is hook and loop fasteners. Which is super catchy.
